A little bit…About Us

In February 1990 Stan and Cath Fox, upon Stan leaving the British Army, decided to join the franchise ‘Nexday’. At the time this was a relatively new market as previously the vast majority of items collected and delivered had been either Same day or two – three day delivery. At the time although having only two delivery vehicles they covered all of BL, OL and M postcodes.

Upon Nexday’s demise came a new franchise which was called ‘Overnite’. This was made up of a lot but not all of the previous companies which were part of Nexday. Cath and Stan Fox joined Overnite another overnight delivery network in approximately 1992. This is where our name Nexday Overnite Ltd is derived. After Overnite ceased trading we carried on collecting and delivering on behalf of our customers but we still needed a reliable and cost effective method of delivering our customers’ consignments anywhere in the country the very next day.

In 1994 we joined APC Overnight (www.apc-overnight.com) and for the past 30 years we have gone from strength to strength. We now specialise in collecting and delivering small parcels via our network of over 115 independently owned and managed delivery companies which are all part of the APC Overnight network. From humble beginnings delivering four consignments in one van across the Bolton, Wigan and Bury postcodes an area which stretches from Skelmersdale to Edenfield we now have 14 vans delivering over 1000 consignments a day.
